Properties of wool:
- Water repellent on the surface.
- Naturally flame-resistent.
- The inner core of wool can absorb a large quantity of water (while it remains dry on the surface).
- Great temperature insulator.
- Odor and stain resistant.
- Biodegradable and renewable.
- Can feel scratchy on the skin and heat and moisture can cause it to felt.
Wool blends combine the wonderful characteristics of wool with those of other fibers.
