Noro's mission is to make products that are kind to people and kind to nature. They want to create a yarn that makes people happy. NORO yarn has always been particular about natural materials. They use carefully selected materials and want to deliver them to customers without impairing their natural characteristics. Therefore, in order to cherish the texture of the fibers, the removal of the contaminants on the raw yarn is done by hand without using chemicals or machinery.
When using two or more types of raw materials, they try not to mix them evenly during yarn making. This is to make each material such as wool, silk, mohair, etc. have a subtly different color, luster, texture, etc. in one thread. Sometimes it looks like spots, but that's one of the great attractions of NORO yarn. For this reason, the mixing ratio of raw materials is not the same in all parts of the yarn. The mixing ratio displayed is the ratio of the raw materials added and is the average of the entire yarn.
Color is the most important element of NORO yarn. The color must be beautiful and have a strong shine and depth. They use colors that are resistant to fading, and color transfer.
