Weaving is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. If you learn one new medium this year, let it be how to weave. It’s one of those centuries old traditions that is both practical (in certain forms) and beautiful and can be sort of soothing to the soul. Scarves and wall hangings are a great way to start - one with a rigid heddle loom and the other with a tapestry loom - either one is a great choice to start with!
We carry a large variety of weaving supplies at CRAFTWORKS and also run great Weaving Classes. Find out more about our classes here online or call us at (508) 393-9435
