BK-The Sampler Blanket

From Master Knitter Lisa Hoffman, co-author of Faerie Knitting, comes The Sampler Blanket, a knitting pattern with such extensive information that it fills a full book!

Featuring 30 skill building stitch patterns for the Advanced Beginner to the more Experienced Knitter, Lisa Hoffman has written this pattern as she would teach a class or knit-along workshop. Each square introduces new techniques as the knitter works through the pattern. It is an exciting project, enriching the knitter with a great sense of accomplishment as each square is completed and a new one begins.

Different from a traditional sampler that would be worked in single squares, this blanket is knit in 5 strips, each with 6 patterns for a total of 30 individual patterns. The strips are then crocheted together, and finished with a crochet trim. In addition, there is a schematic for a 12 square Baby Blanket that uses fun textured patterns with a stockinette square for monogramming.

As a hand knitting designer and teacher for many years, Lisa Hoffman presents this pattern with all the information she knows her students need to successfully understand and complete their project.
