Tea Cozy/ Alice's

Although the tea cozy is rumored to have been invented in several countries, the most popular legend comes from Ireland in the 1600’s. During dinner one night, a farmer leaned across his table and his hat fell off landing directly onto his teapot. Later he removed the hat to pour more tea and realized the hat had kept his tea warm. His wife made the first official teapot cover and called it a cosy.

Our Tea Cozies are machine washable. Size 10” X 13” (Fits a 6 cup Teapot)
