Izzy's Shawl

GBYC 2024 shawl - This is the official knit shawl for this year's crawl. Izzy was 

a little sparrow who fell into Jennifer's life 5 years ago. Her antics and funny little personality brought us joy everyday until 

her passing. This shawl is in memory of the little bird who would cuddle on our shoulders 

or laps. 

Wrapped in Ribbons

This is a great opportunity for you to experiment with color & mosaic knitting. You could even create your own mini’s using leftover fingering yarn. 

Clint Shawl

The design for Clint was inspired by the ancient art of quilting, transformed into a modern, wearable shawl. Clints color options are endless, allowing for bold contrasts or subtle harmonies to express your creativity. Each block is knit modularly, attaching to the main body as you go, simplifying construction and making it portable and manageable for on-the-go knitting.

What is 12 Magical Days you ask.... 

Led by Stacey, we have been scouring the world over to find awesome fiber related tools, yarns and other great finds for the fiber lover in you! 

For 12 days in November, our elves send out an email with 2 options for the day. You get to choose: 1 of the options, both options, if you can't decide they can choose for you, or if nothing suits you, you can choose to pass on that day.

At the end of the 12 Days, the elves gather everything together, wrap it all and pack it up for you ... ready to be picked up or shipped the beginning of December. 

We have had husbands, children, friends buy these for our customers, so start leaving hints but be sure to reserve your box now - we have a limited number of them and do sell out.

Looking for something to do with some extra time you might have?? 

We are looking for someone who can teach knitting & crochet to join our team ....

more importantly if you enjoy needle felting & willing to teach this fiber ... oh and sales would be good too but we are totally flexible!!!

We have a great group of needle felters who thoroughly enjoy taking classes here and with Maer leaving to go back to Colorado we have a spot to fill ..... pick up the phone, stop in, or send us an email so we can chat with you about this fun position!

We are in the middle of the strangest of summers. It was 90 degrees just week or so ago followed by a full week of rain. One thing all this heat and rain has led to is a giant crop of zucchini .. do you have lots?? 

Try adding it to cookie and cake recipes - makes them super moist and some added nutrition. Other ways include: Pair zucchini boats with charred pork chops, smoked fish or other grilled greats; zucchini roulades; and so many more great recipes ..... What creative ways have you found to use it?
