![]() The re-do is almost done and we can't wait to re-open our doors. Inventory of favorites have been restocked. New products have been added. We are looking forward to continuing to weave a close-knit community of supporters of local artisans. Your support has been our coziest yarn ball, and we're sending heaps of gratitude your way. Each one of you is a fantastic star! Get ready for an exciting 2024! Is 2024 the year for you to learn a new craft? Check out our Calendar Our classes are curated to help you 1) have fun, 2) improve your skills & 3) expand your repertoire by trying new techniques. With many new offerings starting this month we have something for every level. Check them all out! While we continue to look for a crochet instructor to join our team, Marla is going to offer a 2 day Intro to Crochet Class. This will set you up with basic skills, single crochet, double crochet, counting your stitches and more! LATER THIS MONTH: Teresa will continue to offer Stamping workshopfeaturing Valentine fun; Our Book Group will be meeting on Friday Jan 19th to discuss "The Last Thing He Told Me" by Laura Dave. Maer has created some bags for you to embellish in her next Needle Felting workshop; Anne is going to be teaching a painting class, a Winter Scene. These classes/ workshops are all geared for beginners as well as those who just want to try create a new project. Time for you to give one of these a try? Recipe Corner: Although the weather is not overly cold, soups are great for this time of year... and we have restocked our favorite Frontier Soups. Have you worked with the frozen puff pastry? It is so versatile and easy to use to create elegant appetizers, or a good addition to your soup. You can cut small squares and bake it in a muffin tin, roll it in pinwheels, or just cut it in small squares. Bake it and fill with your favorite prepared Wildwood dip and/or cheesecake mixes. |
