Book Club 4-17-2026: Women and Children First
Our Book Club meets roughly every month. Each month we discuss a different book! Check back here before each book club meeting to find out the title if it is not listed below.
In April we'll be discussing Women & Children First by Alina Grabowski. This is a literary puzzle about a small, struggling Massachusetts town shaken by the mysterious death of a teenage girl, Lucy, at a house party. Told through the perspectives of ten different women connected to Lucy, the book explores themes of grief, community, class, and secrets, with the first five chapters leading up to the tragedy and the last five dealing with the aftermath.
