Where Creativity Is American Made...Assigned Pooling
Assigned Pooling is a really fun concept to adding texture/ design to your project using uniquely dyed yarn.
This is a great technique to using yarns that have small sections of color.
Basically, the shortest color repeat is worked into a 'yarn hungry' textured-stitch pattern (i.e. bobbles/nups, wrapped stitches or even short rows) which gathers together this color repeat in small clusters.
