Knit (Crochet) a-thon

Inspired by the Gilmore Girls Knit-a-thon episode and her daughter, who while working with the Americorps, realized how many folks suffered from food insecurities, Laura launched this event.
So join us won't you, knit/ crochet whatever you like, maybe even something for charity.

CLICK HERE to make a donation and be sure to register to join us for all or part of the day!

The Knit-for-Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity.

The money we raise will be equally divided between Feeding AmericaWorld Central KitchenNo Kid Hungry, & Meals on Wheels.

There will be a schedule of zoom programming throughout the day (music, speakers, yoga, stretching, knitting ergonomics, etc.). We’ll hear from each of the four organizations that we’re fundraising for to learn more about the work they’re doing, & we will enjoy each other’s company!

We will start @ 10AM and go till 10PM –

join us for as long (or short) a time that you are able, or via zoom.

The funds raised will be divided evenly between:
Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry and Meals on Wheels.
