CoCoKnits - a Top Down Approach to Sweater Construction.
This new technique will change how you look at sweaters, work on them and is very exciting!! You will need a copy of the book.
Cocoknits Lizzie - a versatile minimalist cardigan meant to be light and airy and universally flattering. See the style notes (page 89) in your cocoknits book for sleeve and garment length recommendations based on your body type or go free form to suit your personal style.
I knit mine in Emma’s mohair and used less than two skeins for the size Large. I did the short waist length with sleeves stopping just below the elbow like the model is wearing. It’s perfect for this cardigan. This is not the scratchy itchy mohair of the 60’s but the refined soft and silky mohair of today. If mohair isn’t your thing, the staff can suggest substitutions.
Once you have registered for the class, you will receive instructions including materials requirements and pre-class swatching. This will allow the full class time to be devoted to kick starting your sweater.
The class is designed to get you through the neck and shoulder construction and on to the yoke. Depending on how quickly you knit possibly through the yoke.
