Tunisian Crochet
Are you interested in learning or further exploring Tunisian Crochet? This method of crochet is often referred to as a cross between knitting and crochet, but even though the final product can look like knitting, and you hold the hook similar to a knitting needle, you’re still only working with one “stick” and it really is crochet!
Stitches are linked and worked sideways using a longer hook than usual, and sometimes even using a double-ended hook.
Ann will teach you the basic Tunisian stitches, and we'll look at some of the wide variety of stitch patterns, colorwork techniques, and variety of fabrics you can create with this method, to whet your appetite for further exploration on your own, or in more advanced classes. If you think Tunisian crochet will only produce the stiff fabric think again!
Time to give a new stitch a try!
