Waterfall Crochet is an exciting, brand new crochet colorwork method.
Mary will help you learn the basic method (rated “Easy”) that renders checkered fabric (think “Gingham”) and doesn’t involve carrying or floating dropped colors, or working with bobbins. We’ll use two colors of worsted weight yarn and a long hook such as a regular un-handled crochet hook, or a Tunisian hook.
The resulting fabric would be appropriate for a washcloth, hot pad, afghan block, scarf, etc. We will have copies of the new book “Learn to Waterfall Crochet” available for purchase, so you can further explore this new method of making fabric with color blocks, ripples, plaids and faux traveling cables.
